Out Patient Surgery
I finally broke down and scheduled my rotator cuff surgery, which should have been done about a year ago. The outpatient surgery went well, but the recovery time will take about 8 weeks. I have to wear a sling 24 hours a day, except for showering. After that I won't be able to pick up anything heavier than a coffee cup for another 4 weeks. The damage to the rotator cuff was not as bad as first thought, which would have taken 12 weeks total recovery time. After only 3 days, TV is already getting old. I may have to convert to computer time. I'm open for suggestions for a "one armed man" (not to be confused with the Fugitive.), with limited physical activity.

Can you play ping pong left-handed? If not, then maybe cribbage? Maybe this would be a good time to catch up on some of that reading you have been wanting to do.
007,
It was my left shoulder that was operated on. Maybe I should be reading more and less television.
